Do I have to give out my cell phone number or email?

Nope! Blasts runs entirely through your computer browser using internet connections. Keep your personal texts for your family, and keep your professional pings safely on your screen.

Can anyone spam me?

It is mathematically impossible. Senders must have an access code generated by YOU to get a message to your screen. No code, no message. If you revoke their code, they are blocked forever.

What if I am sharing my screen or in a meeting?

You can easily toggle "Do Not Disturb" (DND) or set quiet hours. When DND is on, badges won't pop up. Messages will silently wait for you in your Blasts inbox until you are ready to read them.

Does my whole company need to use this?

No. Blasts is peer-to-peer. As long as the two people talking have the extension installed, it works immediately. However, if your entire team uses it, we have powerful tools for team broadcasts and shared directories.

How do I pay for blasts if there is no monthly subscription?

Blasts uses a flexible, pay-as-you-go deposit system. You simply load your account with credits (e.g., the Pro or Gorilla tier) and draw from that balance as you send Typed or Voice blasts. Your credits never expire, and there are absolutely no recurring subscription traps.

How are my Voice Blasts transcribed so quickly?

It happens automatically the moment your voice message arrives — right inside your inbox, so you can read it instead of listening if you're busy. We never store your voice recordings or the typed-out version on our servers. Your audio stays yours.

What happens if a sales rep leaves my company?

Your enterprise connections and credits are safe. Because the system is managed through the central Cockpit admin hub, you can instantly revoke a departed employee's access and seamlessly transfer their unused blast credits and connections to another team member.

Do I need IT approval to install heavy desktop software?

No. Blasts is just a small, secure Chrome Extension — not heavy software you have to install on your computer. It works right inside your browser. Most people are up and running in under a minute.

How exactly does the CRM sync work?

It runs quietly in the background. Every Blast you send, get back, or reply to is automatically logged into Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics as a contact activity. You never have to type a note or paste a message — your sales records stay up to date all by themselves.

What is the optional "Advertiser Network"?

It's a way to lower your costs. If you opt-in, you'll occasionally see premium offers from our advertising partners that match your business — not random junk. Just by looking at the offers, you earn free "Blast Credits" that you can spend on your own messages or donate to a charity you pick.

Is there a limit to how many connections I can store?

No limit at all. Add as many contacts as your business needs. Your address book stays on your computer — not in some central database somewhere — so it scales with you forever.

Can I send files or contracts through a Blast?

Yes. You can send payment links, invoices, and documents safely inside a Blast. Because it goes screen-to-screen instead of through email, you avoid the usual email problems — no attachment size limits, no risk of someone faking your message, no virus-infected files sneaking through.

How do you provide analytics without using tracking pixels?

Traditional email tools spy on the people you message using invisible tracking images. We do the opposite. Your stats — how many Blasts you sent, how fast you got replies, which messages got the most attention — are calculated only from what's on your screen. The people you message don't get tracked. Just clean numbers, no spying.

What is a Blast ID and connect link?

Your Blast ID is a public handle (like TOM-7X4K) you can share instead of your inbox email. A connect link looks like blasts.app/connect/TOM-7X4K — it opens a landing page that never shows your email. With the Free B2B Leads extension installed, the page saves the ID for One-Click Connect; they still tap Accept in Blasts before pairing.

What if the person I want to blast doesn't have the extension yet?

It's super simple. You generate a one-time invitation code and send it to them by email or LinkedIn. Once they install the free Chrome Extension and enter the code, you're permanently connected — and your messages flow safely back and forth from that point on.

Is there a mobile app?

Currently, Blasts is an incredibly lightweight Chrome Extension designed for desktop browsers where your deep work happens. However, a companion mobile app for reading messages and voice replying on the go is in active development.

Can I unsend or delete a Blast?

Yes. Because Blasts operates peer-to-peer outside of standard email protocols, if you delete a message from your outbox before the recipient reads it, it vanishes from their inbox instantly. No more "Oops" moments.

Is Blasts compliant with GDPR and CCPA?

Absolutely. Since we don't use tracking pixels and we don't store your message contents or contacts on our central servers, Blasts is designed from the ground up to respect data privacy laws and keep you fully compliant.

What happens if I go offline?

If you lose internet connection, your incoming Blasts will queue securely. As soon as you reconnect, your extension will seamlessly sync and deliver all pending messages right to your screen.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
